'Never mind the heat, climate change is hoax by gravy-train scientists'
Russia's deadly wildfires, the smog-filled cities and poor harvest, are being seen by some environmentalists as signs of man-made climate change. But Piers Corbyn of the Weather Action Foundation says the heatwave is only down to climate cycles...

Climate change's 'evil twin'
Little is known about the impact of global warming on the world's oceans. However, a group of scientists are braving freezing Arctic conditions to test how increased levels of carbon dioxide are making the sea corrosive. In the second of a three part series from the Canadian Arctic, Al Jazeera's Steve Chao reports on what scientists call climate change's "evil twin." (18 April 2010)

Scientists under fire in climate change 'cover-up' scandal
A leading British climate scientist has come under pressure to resign over a series of leaked e-mails, which global warming sceptics say point to a mass conspiracy. Supermodels Take It Off For Climate Change

We were so inspired by the pictures we saw coming in from around the world on 350.org's Global Day of Climate Action, that we wanted to help. While the one-day event was called 'the most widespread day of political action in the planet's history,' we know that not everyone reads the newspapers. So we figured we'd try to get the point across the best way we know how--with clothes, or really, with the lack of clothes. We hope you'll get the point--feel free to watch it twice in case you got distracted the first time. For more information go to: www.350.org

The Big Ask: Climate change, "ACT NOW!"
We need strong leadership on climate change. Too many politicians are happy to speak about the issue, but their promises have often turned out to be just a load more hot air. One exception is the United Kingdom, where a climate law has just been adopted, which will force the government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions every year. We need your help to ensure that other governments follow this example. On 10th August, more than 6000 people took part in the recording of The Big Ask-video clip at Ostende on the Belgian coast. This was the largest event against climate change ever organised in Belgium. The film clip was made possible due to the engagement of volunteers from Friends of the Earth, and many film industry professionals including award winning director Nic Balthazar, film crews, production houses, actors, ... Music has been supplied by Hooverphonic. The video clip has been launched, and now is the time to send it round the world, and to share it with everyone you know! You can view the clip at www.thebigask.be After you've watched the clip, do something, ACT NOW! Send the clip to politicians in your own country, and send the clip to friends, family, and colleagues. Friends of the Earth groups are running The Big Ask climate campaign in 17 European countries, so if you are in one of these countries, you can sign an online petition after you have watched the film. Raise your voice, shout it on the train or in the middle of the street, stand on your desk at work ...
